Selling this 86 Golf 1.3, Not a very tidy car, as the photos show, but its not bad; the look suits the car. Its had arches and sills done in the past and theyre good at the minute, small bit of rust coming up under the windscreen, yet to be treated. Its clearly a driver and not a show piece, but like I say, it looks quite good. Certainly turns heads. Lowered pretty hard on jom coilovers, and the wheels are Borbet type B which are very uncommon, borderline rare, especially with the centre caps as theyre not the flat ones you normally would see on these wheels. Be warned, it is low, it hits the floor, its not practical but it will get over most bumps and go anywhere you point it, it has been lower, could easily be raised if you wanted. Front seats at the moment are Ford RS recaros but I will be keeping these and you get the original seats. Bad bits…o/s drive shaft clunks a bit ever since its been lowered, never caused any drama and not got any worse. Steering wobble at high speeds and under braking that should probably be looked at. Underside of car is a bit battered due to its ride height…but lets face it its never going to be a show car. Aaaaanyway, come and have and make me an offer I cant refuse, you might get lucky ;) Looking for €800.
