Semiah and I just got home from the hospital. Her headache is mostly gone and she is much better today although we will be monitoring her closely. Still do not know what caused the headache or why it lasted so long. The paediatrician suspects a viral infection and has ordered some tests and we have to follow up with him on Tuesday to see if even more tests are needed. For the time being, she is feeling better and so are we although we are fairly exhausted. Big thank you to the staff at West Coast General Hospital for taking care of our daughter the way they did. She used to be very afraid of doctors and she says she isnt afraid of them anymore. Well, at least the girl-ones she said. The boy-ones though..... still not totally cool with. Big thank you for all the family and friends who helped and stopped in and called and wrote, your love and good wishes count and are greatly appreciated for the medicine they are. I deeply appreciate the strength and love of my tluutsmaa Marisa. I look to the centre when I am seeking strength for what life brings to us and I always find you there.
