Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-TN), is describing insurance plans that his constituents had, that were low-cost and covered their CURRENT personal needs. One has Lupus and had a plan to cover that disease. The described policies did NOT meet the BASIC ACA requirements. So, I guess my question is, If you had to go to the emergency room with a broken leg, or heart attack, who would pay for it? Sounds like these policies did not consider, or cover, the UNEXPECTED, and probably did not cover free preventive testing. Dontcha just love the HALF STORY reports? Some of us can read between the lines of Teapublican RHETORIC. LOL
