Sen. Lamar Alexander, suspicious of the Surgeon General nominee, said, In your tweets of October 16, 2012, tired of politicians who were afraid of the NRA. Alexander then unwisely said, I would hope you would know that Americans have a First Amendment Right to advocate for the Second Amendment. Jon Stewart, Yes, Americans have a First Amendment right to advocate the Second Amendment. Apparently, you dont have a First Amendment right to have a different opinion from that. Ya think the Senator missed the absurdity of his statement?
