Sen stanislawski I NEED your help, our CHILDREN NEED your help!!! I spoke with you in Owasso briefly and also via email. You confirmed you signed into HB2625 as senate author showing your support of CHANGE to the current RSA law!! We are at the final hours here for this bill, IF FORD DOES NOT PUT IT IN FOR MONDAYS AGENDA IT WILL DIE... Along with the education futures of some of our children! As the vice chair I am not just asking at this point I am begging you to PLEASE schedule HB2625 OR HB3240 to be heard MONDAY as it is the last chance to get in agenda!! I spoke with sen Ford a couple weeks ago and he shared his concerns with HB2625 with me as it returns local control for All students, but I have emailed sen Ford a couple times since our conversation and asked him to look at HB3240 as it seems to address the minority of children that will be harmed from the original bill!! I have been told by several admin assts at this point that HB3240 will NOT be heard as Scott( the author) is a democrat!?!?!? I SURE HOPE AND PRAY THIS IS NOT HOW THINGS ARE TRULY RAN UP THERE, as if something is presented that WILL help save the future of ALL oklahoma students not just the MAJORITY of them, it should not matter what party developed it!!!!! if Ford is against HB2625 then HB3240 is the bill that focuses on that spacific small group of children that will NOT reap the benefits of the RSA but the opposite, you will have crushed their self esteem and made them feel like failures!
