Senator Grassley gave a speech on the Senate floor today regarding the Environmental Protection Agency’s proposed “Waters of the United States” rule. In the speech, Grassley says that this debate is not about whether we should have clean water protections but whether this complicated federal permitting process is appropriate. The EPA promises not to interfere with farmers’ routine use of their own land.
