Senator Grassley this week met the chairman and CEO of Jockey International, Debra Waller. She talked about the company’s charity to help adoptive families while she was in the nation’s capital to receive an award for her adoption work and advocacy. She and the senator talked about foster youth who age out of the system with little or no support and the need to strengthen families so that they stay together even after an adoption is final.
