Senator Hassan Muhammed Gusau who represented Zamfara central in the sixth senate has hailed president Goodluck Jonathan over the reappointment of the Director General of National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Alhaji Muhammad Sani sidi. While speaking to journalists in Abuja senator Gusau said the reappointment is clearly a reward for an exceptional performance by the DG during his first term in office. He said NEMA has been transformed into a modern emergency management body because as head of the Agency Sani Sidi successfully improved its resilience and preparedness capacity in line with global best practices. Gusau expressed optimism that the reappointment of the NEMA boss will further enhance the agency.
