Senator Pamela Wallin threatens legal action against the Harper Conservatives over move to suspend her without pay. A bitter Sen. IMO - if a trusted civil servant (politician, policeman, teacher, etc) breaks the law they should get DOUBLE the punishment as that of an ordinary civilian as they have taken an oath to perform in a certain manner and have abused a trust placed upon them. If someone wants to be held to a higher standard because of the job they perform then they should be held to a higher form of justice too.
