Senator Rashidi Ladoja has promised traders in Bola Ige international Market gbagi of a reduction in shop rents if elected into office in the february 2015 polls. He said this at a campaign rally held by Accord in the market, when the Partys campaign train got to Egbeda local government area of the state. Senator Ladoja also told the traders that he is committed to ensuring that the market is upgraded with modern amenities. Earlier at the sawmill area Old Ife road, Senator Ladoja had warn the people not to trust the present government as they make promises they have no intention of keeping. He noted that the APC led government in the state feeds on lie. Wondering why the government who is owing workers salaries would continue to say it is not owing. He said its an unfortunate situation the state has found Its self with the present leadership. He advised the people to be wary of state owned medias as they are the channels through which the government disseminate falsehood. Senator Ladoja said the government relies so much on propaganda that one could be forced to think the Ajimobi led government believes that if falsehood is reported repeatedly the people may begin to believe it to be the truth. He however stated that no matter the amount of lies the people who have not been paid knows they have not been paid. He advised the people to ensure they collect their permanent voters card, and make they vote as that is the only way to change that will restore prosperity. The highlight of todays rally was the defection from PDP to Accord of Alhaji Adisa Alabi former PDP chairman Egbeda local government. Alhaji Adisa defected with hundreds of his followers. The campaign train moves to Ona- ara local government on the 27th January.
