Send this to your MP Dear MP New Zealanders want a Government they can trust, a Government that keeps its promises, and a Government that is working together with New Zealanders not aligning themselves with companies hell bent on destroying our fishery. Under the strong and stable leadership of the Prime Minister John Key, we have a Government that has pledged to hand over our ‘birthright’ the people’s fishery to fishing companies. If we stick with the Government’s programme, the average kiwi is going to be unable to get a feed for themselves in years to come, going camping at the beach during the holidays and fishing with the kids will be a waste of time yet they will still be able to continue to watch the trawlers pillaging our coastline. The hard work of this Government and Corporate New Zealanders involved with Fishing companies is paying off. This Government has had a full on business development plan revolving around our wild fishery. These plans were drawn up on a profit and loss structure simply put if you want more profit harvest more fish to sell. Their challenge is to ensure this growth in the fishing industry continues long-term while we the recreational fisher suffer, because that’s the best way for National to destroy our fishery. Well guess what Mr National MP, – I’m giving my Party Vote to NZ First as they have the best fishing policy and National refuse to acknowledge what is happening!!!
