Sending fragile freight needn’t be a nail-biting experience. - TopicsExpress

Sending fragile freight needn’t be a nail-biting experience. With sturdy, high quality timber cases and wooden boxes from Aussie Crates, you can rest assured your goods will arrive in one piece. A shipping agency in Perth was sending some state-of-the-art computer server equipment back to the USA. The value and fragility of this equipment meant we had to include additional protection. Two different designs of pine & ply cases were built, with the client providing exact specifications on the thickness of foam to be used inside the boxes. Nails or screws couldn’t be used to secure the bases and lids together, so re-usable fasteners were attached instead. As with all our timber packaging going overseas, the timber used was ISPM-15 certified to meet all the quarantine and customs export specifications. If you have something fragile or valuable to send, give Aussie Crates a call on (08) 9358 1355 or email us at [email protected].
