Sending prayers and hugs to this family.. And appreciate the Star Telegram for sharing it as well. Sadly I am familiar with agencies like this from my own childhood and even more saddening a few years ago my family were witness to some of the failures to the TX CPS system. I told myself I would one day stand up for the wrong doing that takes place... And as I sit and wait for the right time more families suffer. While I know there are some AMAZING individuals working for the system, I know there are others that turn a blind eye, or are jaded or simply over worked which has lead to families being even more torn than they were prior to the system getting involved. Please say a prayer for this family and to all those broken for whatever reason. Our communities are filled with so many having no voice, no one to defend them. There are talks of a major overhaul for Texas CPS system... Pray that that process is taken seriously.
