Senior Accountant AED 10,000 – 12,000 Gross + Annual Benefits Location: Dubai / Qatar Our client is a multinational company that provides a complete range of geotechnical investigation engineering, construction material and In-situ testing, topographic surveys throughout the Gulf and the subcontinent. This position supports Financial Controller and Branch Manager. The successful candidate will be an Accounts Graduate Core responsibilities of the role are as follows: • Preparation of Monthly and Quarterly reports for Dubai and Qatar division (Cash flow, Income statement, Balance sheet and preparation of Hyperion) • Maintain general accounting of daily transactions (suppliers invoices, supplier payments, customer invoices employee declarations, petty cash, bank reconciliation, fixed assets and periodic journals) • Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable for Geotechnical and lab. • Balance sheet reconciliation monthly • Performance and tender bonds for the branch Monitoring expired tender/performance bond for cancellation Preparation of request letter for cancellation to clients with expired tender/ performance bond Preparation of cancellation letter to bank for returned original copies of tender/performance bond • Medical Insurance • Assisting with payroll preparation and distribution of cash and salary transfers • Assisting with external and internal auditors • Preparation of yearly tax schedules • All other tasks which may be required • Personnel file maintenance To be a part of this continuously growing organization, you will have the following skill set: • 4 years related experience in similar role. • Knowledge in Financial Software: Navision preferred. • Well versed with MS Office. • Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles. • Should be Pleasant, Mature and Professional. • Problem-solving / judgment: the ability to observe, think critically and to solve problems using data, analysis, interpretation, and reasoning skills. • Teamwork: the proven dedication and ability to work successfully with others, adding value to the team. • Information and communication: Communicates appropriately and effectively with a range of people on a variety of subjects in order to inform, educate or influence them.
