Our client is seeking a Supply Chain professional, preferably with a background in manufacturing, to fill the job of Senior Buyer, to be based in Cilegon, Banten, Indonesia. Responsibilities: Design and implement open agreements and spot purchases to foster Indonesian operations Carry out the procurement process: supporting users in the fulfillment of requirement, selecting vendors and performing auctions, negotiating best conditions, leveraging frame agreements, increasing service level to users and duly complying with the company normative system Analyze and decide on the best contractual structure for approaching local supply market Develop and consolidate expertise in order to eventually take the responsibility of the procurement operation in Indonesia Requirements: Engineering degree with minimum 3 years’ experience of commercial-procurement, especially if in Oil & Gas environment Motivated and driven to meet challenges International-multinational approach Excellent spoken and written English Computer literacy Developed skills in negotiating, problem solving, analytical approach, strategic sourcing and project management Good knowledge of office package, knowledge of SAP would be a plus All applications will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
