Senior C/C++ Consultant - R&D ADSK Team Job (New York, NY, USA): Job Requisition Number:41073 The Role: The R&D ADSK Team at Bloomberg is seeking an exceptional senior server-side engineer to work on building reliable scalable infrastructure, which enables a large numbers of clients to connect and interact through its communications services. This role focuses on working with multiple R&D teams to build highly available routing and distribution systems for incoming clients inquiries via phone calls, instant messaging, and emails simultaneously to provide best in class customer service experience. The team builds sophisticated real time systems that leverage technologies such as natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning for real time data analysis and business intelligence tools. You will interface with the business to understand the requirements and have the opportunity to drive the direction of the product. We are seeking developers who can formulate a vision and work towards making it a reality. Qualifications: - Back-end developers with experience shipping high profile user-facing products, working with large code bases, and engineering features for security, scalability, and high availability. - Expertise and passion in one or more of: C, C++, API design, REST, databases, computational complexity, and service-oriented architectures. - Knowledge of persistent layers using relational and/or NoSQL databases, server-side programming in C/C++. - Understanding of software architecture and object-oriented design.
