Lester Franks is an award winning national consultancy employing over 50 people in the disciplines of surveying, planning, 3D laser scanning and industrial metrology. Servicing clients Australia wide since 1964, Lester Franks has several established regional offices. A permanent position has opened up for a Senior Cadastral Surveyor to manage our busy team of professionals based in our Townsville office. You will be responsible for managing all survey functions for allocated projects. With a good understanding of Queensland’s cadastral system you will have experience in tenure and title surveys, management of digital data and preparation of all types of survey plans. This is an exciting opportunity to join this leading consultancy, work with modern survey equipment and software and establish yourself as an industry leader. The successful applicant will be a Cadastral Endorsed Senior Surveyor who must possess the following: · Degree in spatial science (or equivalent) · Registration with the Queensland Surveyors Board with a Cadastral Endorsement · Ideally have 5+ years experience including project management · Excellent communication and demonstrated leadership skills · Ability to create and manage successful client relationships · Have superior time management skills - able to work under pressure and to deadlines · Ability to prepare budgets and accounts in a whole of business strategic approach · Be willing to travel for work including away from home from time to time · Be a permanent resident of Australia You will be offered a competitive salary package as well as added employee benefits.
