Senior Chief MUNUNGA of the SHILA people of CHIENGI District in LUAPULA Province has urged PF President EDGAR LUNGU to complete the developmental programmes initiated by late President MICHAEL SATA in the area, if elected republican president on January 2, 2015.The traditional leader says the late president had embarked on building a palace, a boarding school and other public infrastructure in the chiefdom. Senior Chief MUNUNGA said this when PF President EDGAR LUNGU paid a courtesy call on him at his palace in CHIENGI District. Meanwhile, addressing a rally in LUPIYA area in CHIENGI, Mr. LUNGU promised to initiate the construction and tarring of roads to connect CHIENGI to other Districts, if elected Zambias next president. And addressing another rally at CHIENGI market, Mr. LUNGU said his key focus will be to build school infrastructure and improve the agricultural sector, if he wins the race to plot one. Mr. LUNGU has since received blessings from Chiefs KASHIBA, MULUNDU and LUBUNDA of MWENSE District.
