Senior Electrical Engineer (Arab National) Doha, Qatar Package: Up to 45,000 QAR/month all inclusive compensation The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for ensuring investor requirements are reasonable from an engineering perspective by making sure investor demands are studied and challenged when necessary. The Senior Electrical Engineer will also monitor and manage the design, implementation and quality control of electrical and infrastructural works. Manage and provide specialist advice on electrical infrastructure of all the projects. Work with Commercial Manager in preparation of pre-qualification questionnaire and RFPs, bid evaluation and negotiation by evaluating and challenging demands of investor from a technical and commercial perspective. Coordinate with Business Development to meet with investors, when necessary, in order to understand and challenge business requirements and to ensure demands are reasonable from an engineering perspective. Monitoring electrical related operations at all the Projects. Prepare and review periodic status reports, down times and maintenance reports. Prepare annual budget and resources plan for electrical components, spare parts, maintenance and upgrades; ensure alignment with budget and plan by monitoring actual spending against budget. Work in collaboration with HSE Manager to set goals, objectives and standards that optimize efficiency and sustainability in electrical infrastructure. Supervise quality standards, guidelines and procedures for electrical infrastructure and ensure compliance at implementation and maintenance. Monitor compliance of electrical infrastructure activities with working procedures, quality standards, health and safety standard and guidelines (in collaboration with QA/QC Manager, HSE Manager, and Project Managers). Present to management any upgrades or modifications needed and follow up contractor works associated. Establish and execute maintenance plans. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor Degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering MBA is preferred 8 years of related work experience in the Construction field as an Electrical Engineer in contracting, construction, infrastructure and buildings Proven experience in working in the GCC Arab National This is a fantastic “Client side” opportunity!
