This position will be responsible for development of communication firmware to support medium power Three Phase inverters. Excellent Industrial IT / Coding / Debugging / Documentation / Communication Skills. • Understand product requirements / Formulate Firmware specifications / Develop communications firmware architecture for Solar Energy Grid Tie Inverters, Auxiliary Products like Gateway Data logger and Operator Interfaces stations. • Hands on Code Implementation / debugging / development of test strategies. Development real time state machine, monitoring and communications functions for the above referred renewable energy products. • Understand and comply with QMS and PMP requirements • Update programming / debugging skills and also learn new skills • Specify and implement micro controller and support hardware • Participate in subsystem and system level design verification planning and testing Qualifications EDUCATION – MINIMUN REQUIRED LEVEL: • Masters / Bachelors in Computer Science / Electronics / Embedded Systems EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED: • 7 to 10 years KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: • Programming experience in Assembler / C / C++ for 32 bit controllers/ DSPs • Programming experience in RTOS environments like uC OS-II/QNX or other platforms • Experience writing lean code for real time interrupt driven applications • Demonstrated ability with ARM architecture / development tools, including emulators and version control software • Implementation experience in industrial field bus communication protocols like MODBUS / CAN/ I2C • Knowledge of communication interfaces like USB and Ethernet technology and TCP/IP protocols • Good interpersonal communication skills and experience in working with global teams • Participate in subsystem and system level design verification planning and testing • Knowledge/experience in Agile methodologies and static code analysis KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED • Knowledge of Windows Architecture and Programming experience using VC++/ MFC. • Programming experience in scripting languages like Python / Tcl/Tk / Pearl • Experience developing embedded systems for solar applications / power control products very desirable • Knowledge of Digital / Analog circuit designs • Knowledge/Experience in coding for safety and compliance standards like UL1998/IEC 60730/SIL-1,2,3 and software FMEA
