Senior Hurriyat (M) leader visits Acid attack victim, protests at Press enclave Srinagar || JKLF Chairman and senior Hurriyat Conference (M) leader, Javaid Ahmad Mir today visited the SKIMS hospital to enquire the health condition of 22 years old girl who was attacked with Acid in her college premises. According to a statement issued to INA, Javaid Ahmad Mir on the occasion expressed sympathies with the family of the attacked girl. He said this incident should not be taken in isolation but it reflects the state of crime against the women in Kashmir. Meanwhile soon after the Friday congregation prayers, Javaid Ahmad Mir along with his party workers and activists, joined the protest demonstration in Srinagar’s press enclave organized by the various law student groups. On the occasion, while interacting with the media, Javaid Ahmad Mir demanded the stern action against the culprits. He said harshest punishment should be given to the culprits so that it can deter others who may contemplate doing such crime which takes away the right of assaulted person to live a dignified life. Meanwhile Javaid Ahmad Mir has expressed his sympathies with the Valley’s prominent journalist and Editor-in-Chief daily Rising Kashmir Mr. Shujaat Bukhari, over the sad demise of his father in law. Javaid Mir praying for the departed sould prayed for his eternal peace.
