Senior Labour MP strikes again, helping to make Labour look...erm...not so good. Does anyone still intend to vote for these dinosaurs? Angus MacNeil, the SNP stalwart, had just pointed out the ever increasing statistical chance of a so-called nuclear deterrent actually being deployed. The MP for Na h-Eileanan an Iar, then moved on to the £100Bn plus nuclear plans being trivialised by Labour in Scotland, and said: “Labour policy is not to even engage properly in this debate at a time when foodbanks are rising and they are supporting austerity” It was then, during one of the most ill-judged and regretful interventions in the history of the Commons, that Donohoe made his bizarre outburst: “I just can’t believe what he has just said, I honestly just don’t believe, when there are submarines coming from Russia going up the Clyde right now, he’s trying to tell us that we don’t have a deterrent, that we shouldn’t have a deterrent, that’s absolutely unreal and tankers going over the top of Scotland from the same place, absolutely unreal that we should find ourselves absolutely defenceless, it’s a CRAZY NOTION!” Angus MacNeil who was still on great form saw the open goal and took it, as poor Brian slumped back to his bench looking rather confused and unsure of what he had done, Mr MacNeil said: “It wouldn’t be the first time the honourable gentleman has struggled to comprehend matters but it’s very alarming he tells us Russian submarines are going up the Clyde. My goodness, I thought we had a detterent. ” “Clearly his nuclear policies are failing because they will be docking in Greenock or Port Glasgow any minute now by the sounds of things” https://youtube/watch?v=R0WBp9gN21o
