Senior Manager Business Planning & Performance Location: Oman Job Description: Modelling: •Develop excel models and manage spreadsheets to create mathematical tools to estimate and forecast the business performance •To maintain complex databases to collect information from different data sources across the bank Data Collection and Collation: •Collaborate across the different units of the Bank and liaise in collecting information that is imperative to good planning •Collect data and collate on a daily, weekly, monthly basis to present to supervisor to analyze and present to senior management •Collaborate with IT to ensure all data bases containing management information is accurately maintained. •Develop automated solutions for data collection across the Bank. Management Accounting: •Must be familiar with managerial accounting to apply the principals in real life. Derive from the accepted methodologies and use in real world cases where they can create efficiencies for the Bank. •Link financial accounting to managerial accounting, using the understanding of IFRS and measure and report the impact on the Assets & liabilities of the Bank Banking System Knowledge: •Work with Islamic core banking systems and implement new modules using prior experience in implementation. •Assist manager in driving the implementation of all new products in the Bank. Financial Analysis & Reporting: •Develop reporting tools using Hyperion Business Intelligence •Reporting formats using MS Excel •Conduct financial analysis with the understanding of full banking products and provide reasons for all variances. •Develop, static and flexible analysis reports Asset Liability Management Reporting: •Assist in developing sensitivity models •Assist in using data and developing behavioural tools to model attrition and accretion •Develop static and dynamic rate shock analysis •Develop Maturity and Sensitivity Analysis reports •Monitor on a daily basis all critical regulatory ratios Budget Tracking: •On a regular basis ensure all projects and approvals of expenses are in line with the approved budget of the bank Desired Profile: •Preferrably Omani National •7-10 years of relevant experience •Excellent communication and negotiation skills in verbal and written formats to effectively collaborate with clients and colleagues and to comfortably communicate at all levels. •Strong analytic thinking with the ability to assimilate new information readily. •Auto-motivated individual, ambitious self-starter with high energy and motivation. •Professional, trustworthy individual with a positive attitude.
