Senior Manager: Change, Transformation and Ethics Auditor-General of South Africa (AGSA) - Gauteng, Gauteng The job purpose is to ensure the effective implementation of the organisation’s transformation strategy and to ensure that it is aligned to the business and constitutional objectives. This involves engagements with the senior leadership of the business units (BE and senior managers) to incorporate the transformation agenda in core and non-core areas of the business. To ensure the effective utilisation of the change management framework by the senior leadership for the implementation of the transformation agenda. Monitor and feedback to the environment on the incorporation of the organisational values. Monitor and analyse the progress of the strategic projects and its impact thereof. . Roles & Responsibilities Change Management Utilisation of change management framework for implementation of strategic projects. Assist with alignment to the interventions and strategic objectives. Create an organisational environment that thrives on empowering employees and embracing diversity and synergy. Engage with senior leadership of BUs to guide on the understanding of the transformation objectives, commit and support the AGSA’s transformational objectives. Scanning / Support and Guidance Scanning of the environment in terms of internal and external changes. The results of the scanning is utilised to guide the effective implementation of the change projects. Provide holistic organisation guidance on organisational change. Assess policies / processes that guide the organisational culture change. Stakeholder management to obtain commitment, support and resources to achieve the organisation’s vision. Monitor business plans to steer the organisations strategic objectives on transformation. Benchmarking, research and compilation of strategic projects. Provide direction and guidance to BU leaders on transformation interventions. Accountability and Decision Making The role is accountable to the Business Executive Change & Transformation and Ethics Evaluation Monitor all transformation processes in line with transformation plan. Analysis of Information Analyse business data that provide key indicators for measurement of the effectiveness of the implementation of the transformation agenda. Compile gap analyses and make recommendations thereof. Financial Assist in the compilation of the BUs budget. Ensuring budgets are spent in accordance with strategic and tactical business plans. Assist in the management on the BBBEE budget for the entire organisation –this figure is 4% of the organisation’s net surplus. Apply good governance. Ensure variances are reported and explanations are given. Stakeholder Management This position provides guidance to the senior leadership of the BUs on executing their transformation plans. Make available information to allow effective communication to all key stakeholders. Affirm relationship management with key stakeholders-SAICA, Department of Labour and DTI. General Participate and manage the general management of the transformation unit. Participate in strategic planning for transformation across the board. Ensure the key results areas of the unit’s scorecard are achieved. Managing the unit’s staff including inter alia achievement of equity targets, meeting individual development objectives, enhance employee relations and performance management. Constant liaison and consultation with high level stakeholders e.g. DG at DOL; DG at DTI; and internal interaction with senior management team at BU level. Apply judgement with regards to BBBEE and EE implementation processes for and guidance and support to the BUs. . Skills, Experience & Education Qualifications Post Graduate qualification in related field Experience 5 to 8 years management experience in the field of transformation. Experience in employment equity and BEE practices Strong people management skills and experience. Extensive knowledge of labour legislation Strong negotiation skills .
