Senior Tag Rules *These rules can be changed at any time if something happens that makes a switch necessary. Our main goal is to have fun, be safe, and not be the class to ruin Senior Tag for future generations. 1. Each team will consist of no more than four players. 2. The entry fee per person is $5, or $20 per team (no refunds once the game has started). 3. Being “shot” once is considered a kill. You can use water guns and water balloons. If a water balloon is used, it must make contact with the victim and it must explode and get the victim wet to count as a kill (i.e. the water balloon can’t be thrown at the ground and splash the victim after making contact with the ground first). 4. No guns that look like real guns. Rounds: 5. There will be 6 days in a round. There will be one rest day in between rounds for the coordinators to give out new assignments to the people who aren’t out. Each team that advances will be given a new assignment. 6. This is a single elimination tournament, no exceptions. 7. If your team can manage to get all of the people on your assigned team out by the end of the round, then any eliminated players on your team form that round may reenter the game. Kills will be recorded on the honors system. 8. If there is a dispute, the coordinators will be called to make a final decision. What happens if you’re shot? 9. Someone who has been shot must strip to the following within 5 seconds depending on your gender in order to be considered safe... 10. Boys must be wearing only a swim bottom (swim trunks or speedo) and no top and shoes to be considered safe from a “kill” if you have been shot. 11. Girls must be wearing only a swim top (bikini, tankini, or one piece) and no shoes to be considered safe from kills. Girls do not have to remove pants, shorts, or bottoms to be considered safe, but must show that they are wearing swim bottoms after the five seconds. 12. Leotards do not count as swimsuits. Safe Zones: -No kills on school property ever between the streets of Brandon, Mount Holyoke, Ridgeview, and Zollinger. However, shots in the streets are legal one hour before and after school hours start (before 7 a.m. and after 4 p.m.). -No kills at school functions including, but not limited to sporting events team practices, school concerts, Prom, etc. -No kills while your target is walking to work or while working. Kills after their working hours are legal as long as you are not disrupting that place of work/ business. -Cars are safe zones (can’t be killed in a car). To kill a target from a car is only legal if the car is parked (i.e. no drive bys, no kills at stop signs, no kills at stop lights, etc.) -Homes and garages are considered safe zones, even if the garage door is open. Minor and Major Offenses Minor: -Breaking general rules will result in a one week suspension for the player(s), they are still considered a target and may still be shot. Major: -Any illegal activity during game play. This includes but is not limited to any police involvement, public nudity, breaking and entering private or public property, and destruction of private or public property. The entire team will be eliminated from game play.
