Seniors & parents: On Thursday, September 26th at 6:30 p.m. in the little theater the counseling department will be hosting a Senior Parent Night. This is designed as an overview of expectations for senior year and to foster communication between the school and parents so that our students can graduate and plan for the next step successfully. A full list of topics is below. Both students and parents are welcome to attend. Subway sandwiches will be provided. We will be covering the following information: • Graduation requirements • Alaska Performance Scholarship • JumpStart with KPC for spring semester • Test dates and how to register for various types • Scholarship requirements and resources • Brief overview of financial aid (we will have a full financial aid night later in the semester) • Senior timeline & deadlines (yearbook, etc.) • Graduation process & after-grad committee sign-up • Question & answer session (so bring lots of questions!)
