Sensei Says: Enjoy your triumphs and learn from your defeats First off, congratulations to Superior Elite Competition team for their amazing showing this weekend at the BCIT West Coast Martial Arts Championships. The majority of the team was competing in their first tournaments and did amazingly well. When we challenge ourselves to compete against others we gain valuable experience and lessons that will help us improve for the next time. Some will succeed due to their hard work, tireless training and determination. Stay hungry and keep elevating your skills because everyone else will be gunning for you next time. Some wont always achieve the results they were looking for. In this case we need to refocus and get back to what brought us success in the first place. When things dont go your way dont get down on yourself, use it as fuel to add to the fire that stokes your competitive juices. Come back next time with a vengeance and renewed determination to be the best
