Sent in: Whether you like sharing the road with trucks or not, please realise that you are taking your own lives in your hands when you drive like idiots around trucks. Try and realise that if you get hit by a 150+ tonne road train, theres a good chance Im going to walk away, while someone else has to bury you and your family. In the last 15km coming into Geraldton this morning, I was overtaken by a white Commodore station wagon over double white lines, overtaken by a white landcruiser with oncoming vehicles causing me to brake heavily to save you a head on collision, overtaken by a white Tarago while doing 90 in a 90 zone (and who promptly slammed on the brakes to take the next right), and had a green falcon station wagon pull across to the opposite lane directly in front of me. Any of these collisions would have resulted in multiple fatalities, and I would have most likely walked away. Your life is in your hands. Not mine. I wont go to your funeral. I wont cry for you. But the innocent people who are involved - children, police, ambos, etc.- the impact on those I will struggle with. Please, grow up and realise that your car is a deadly weapon. But its no match for a road train when you choose to act like an idiot.
