Sent on behalf of the Crisis Management Team Since Virginias statewide tornado exercise was held during spring break, UVa-Wise will participate in a tornado drill on Thursday, March 20 at 11 a.m. You will receive notification from one or more of the following methods: text, phone, siren, web or email. During the drill, people should go immediately to the lowest level of their building and move to a windowless interior room, hallway or closet space, taking a “drop, cover and hold” position. This means crouching as low as possible to the floor, facing down and covering heads with hands. We will issue an all clear a few minutes later to signal the end of the drill.
