Sent to me from Lisa Pannette, fighting Agenda 21 in STL County - Dear Friends, We will be uniting for the first ever "St. Louis Sustainability" protest. The St. Louis plan is part of Agenda 21 taking place all over our county and municipalities. Maryland Heights has been conducting their visionary process on "Dorsett Great Streets". Their final meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 12th. The mayor of Maryland Heights has told us that a million signatures on a petition will not stop this plan. Please stand with us and bring others. We need to make a statement that We The People will be heard in our community. Date: Wednesday, June 12th Time: 5:30 (Dorsett Great Streets mtg starts @ 6:30) Place: Maryland Heights Centre 2344 Mckelvey Rd. Maryland Heights, MO 63043 We will try to make some signs and please feel free to bring your own. We ask that there is not a mention of Agenda 21, stick to their own words of sustainability. Agenda 21 is not necessary because their own words of what they consider sustainability is enough. We are now giving them a name "Leeches". Stop the Leeches. In all efforts going forward we are going to call them out "Stop the Leeches". This project is seeking to take now: private property (eventual eminent domain for stack/pack community) our road and make it more inconvenient for our cars take parking for our cars rainwater/stormwater charge change the amount of residential land ownership specifications limit amount of energy usage by all in the community freedoms, more what can or cannot be done in the community safety, street light curfews history, filling everything with void and meaningless art jobs, the corridor will decide, not free market Eventually this plan seeks to take: property water food fuel jobs cars freedoms
