Separation in marriage .. It begins in the heart long before it takes place. It first starts when communication breaks down and the husband or wife no longer understands what the other is thinking , feeling, going through or planing . Anger, rudeness, abuse, un forgiveness or negative emotions reinforce it. It intensifies with arguments over trivial issues. The gap grows wider if there is hardness of heart and they are no longer each others top priority. Not long after, divorce begins to be the thought of as a way out of the marriage and the separation process is nearly complete. The good news is that this process can be stopped at any point and totally reversed if there is repentance of heart and forgiveness flowing form one another. All it takes is one person saying I dont want to go on like this . I want some changes . I want to seek The Lord and have Him make changes in you And me and in us together . Lets talk about the things that are bothering each of us and get counseling if we need to. I am willing to ask for your forgiveness. I am willing to do what it takes to turn things around and renew our marriage so it will last. I can guarantee that if a man or woman would say these words to their spouse and mean them and if their spouse would receive them and agree to say this words in return , they could not only save their marriage but would make it better than they ever thought it could be .
