In the forum, domestic and international environmental experts such as the IUCN will join to pursue the policy direction on the ‘Jeju, a world environmental hub,’ and share international chemistry.. A special speech by Miguel Fernando, vice-President of the IUCN is also planned. In the forum, a ‘Jeju nature tour with the ecology expert,’ and ‘environment sharing market’ programs are planned. An event for the Youth, titled , “Remember 2012 WCC concert,’ is also planned. …………………………… It was on Sept. 6, 2012 that five protesters climbed to a caisson dock in Hwasoon to protest destruction by the naval base construction. Three of them have been imprisoned or now in prison. Dr. Song Kang-Ho and Br. Park Do-Hyun who righteously demanded the coast guard’s monitoring on illegal construction (destruction) were rather arrested while monitoring themselves and have been imprisoned.
