Sept. 20. Moved on to Bryce Canyon area. After we set up the trailer, we headed to Escalante Monument. From the visitor center, I learned this was a a large region versus a single place. We drove Scenic Byway 12 to some amazing sights. At times the grade was as much as 14% with huge canyons on each side. We were virtually on the rim. Stopped at the Petrified Rock State Park. 2 plus mile moderate hike. Awesome.
