Sept. 25th - The necklace worn around the neck of a Kings son could be seen from a distance and those that would see it knew that whoever was wearing the jewel was a part of Solomons Kingdom. When people see us from afar, they should see evidence that we are a part of Gods Kingdom and that we belong to Him. In this world we live in transit, we are not residents of this world; we have citizenship in a Kingdom that is not made with human hands and far excels what can be seen in this life. The manner in which we live represents the visible jewelry that others see and it testifies as visible evidence of what we are made of on the inside. Wearing the jewelry of Gods nature will give us favor with him and with man. God wants us to represent Him now, in this life. We are not to wait until we get to heaven to have an up close and personal conversation in the afterlife. God wants us to have favor in His sight right now. He wants to see the evidence that we are a part of His Kingdom; reflecting our likeness with Him. The spiritual necklace we should wear identifies us with God; affirming that He is resident in us. God wants to see our life decorated with the jewels that represent His nature residing in us. When He sees His nature in us God gives us favor and grants us the privilege of coming into His presence. Favor is Gods permission and grace that gives us the release of the things we need but dont deserve. Favor is greater than provision because favor replaces the necessity of relying on mere material provision. Gods favor allows us to rely on His guarantee that He will take care of us no matter what our circumstance might be.
