September 06th, 2013. Today’s Prayer. Holy God, as I face another day, I know I am going to face many challenges: to my faith, to my patience, to my love for others. I am going to have constant temptations to lapse into sin. Come to me now, Lord, and stay with me all day. Let your Spirit encompass my mind. Let me know your presence. Steer my hand, direct my words, and guide my thoughts in everything I think and say and do. I resolve to live this day as a beacon of your glory, the best I can, with your help. I commit myself to give this day to you. May the God of hope fill me and all of us with the joy and peace that comes from believing, so that we may abound in hope, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Dear friends Please take a moment out of your day and reflect upon the things ‘’ God ‘’ has provided you with abundantly with. Take a moment and time today to buy that person a cup of coffee, or pay for someone’s lunch, maybe the neighbor who is having difficulties, buy a bag of groceries, or perhaps a $ 20 dollar bill in a card and place it in their mail box or put it in someone’s gas tank ,and simply say it’s a blessing from god !
