September 1, 2014 marked the end of Global Leadership Training - TopicsExpress

September 1, 2014 marked the end of Global Leadership Training Program (GLTP) in London, England. Being parted from people you call family wasnt easy. You had good and bad times together. Did almost everything together! Now tell me saying goodbyes was easy... GLTP has made me realize one thing (among the many) - Being a leader is not always about you, its not always about you being in control of everything, but its about leading others to become leaders. In short, being a leader is all about creating more leaders. Id also want to extend my highest sense of gratitude to the patrons of this prestigious program, Kak Azi for being our big mama (a woman of steel), Abang Subki for being such a rock&roll bloke, Kak Nieda for being the coolest travel agent (always thought you were one of us though xoxo). And not to forget, the GLTP participants themselves! I learned a plethora of things from you. You taught me about teamwork, mutual respect, agree to disagree, you cant always do things on your own (you need others to work with), and all the LOVELY stuff! Working with you has axiomatically left me in awe and reverence - looking at how confident you all were when presenting your brilliant ideas in front of our distinguished and notable speakers such as Dr. Anas Shaikh Ali (among top 500 most influential Muslims), Dr. Cheryl Travers just to name a few. Im honored to have worked and collaborated with all of you and I can always do this over and over again! We all giggled when the top management claimed us to be the cream of the crop, I believe theres hikmah behind that. Thank you again! p/s: Im more than happy to join upcoming high achievers programs! Please count me in!
