September 11, 2001 is on my mind. I watched the second plane crash into the second of the New York TwinTowers in the Consultants Lounge of the UCH, Ibadan. Having no knowledge of what was going on as I entered the Lounge, I thought it was a movie from the pit of Hell! Our hearts go to the dead whose blood were shed by those who kill in the course of pursuing the cause they believed in. The blood of the innocent must never be in vain. Those who destroy lives they cannot create or genetically engineer are also not fit to live. All men and women of goodwill must unite to prevent such crimes being perpetuated by those taking after the master-minds of 9/11 all over the world. Governments all over the world must collaborate to fight terrorism wherever it is being perpetuated and in whatever form and whatever it may take. The Federal Government of Nigeria must be alive to her responsibility by chasing the Boko Haram perpetuators out of the country. Those who cannot withstand the heat in the kitchen must live the kitchen for those who can. We must learn to live peacefully with all men as much as it lies within us. Peace be still.
