September 11, 2001 started out as a beautiful Maine day! I was stationed at VP-92 in Brunswick and left work take my oldest son to his first day of pre-school. On the way I heard of the 1st plane hitting the Twin Towers. Walked him in, hugged him extra tight then went back to the squadron and watch the horrendous events of the day unfold with my squadron mates stuffed in the tiny duty office. 13 years yet its as vivid as yesterday. NEVER FORGET!
