September 11th, 2001 will always be burned into my memory. I was walking from my Algebra II class to my Economics class at UNT listening to a news on a radio with a fellow classmate when we heard the first tower got hit. We immediately ran to class to inform the others, the professor turned the projector to the news and we watched in horror and shortly after saw the second tower get hit. Then UNT went on high alert as we were ordered to our dorms and the university was shut down for the next 2 days as Denton has a large Defense building out there. Just 48 hours of watching chaos. In the past 13 years Ive watched some go through hell, some lose their life, and some rebuild and start anew because of this. One thing I know for sure is America always rallies and we rebuild. We will never be a perfect nation, but this tragedy showed how we can truly come together and be one nation under God that has the willingness to help our fellow man or woman and to protect each other. God bless you all and all of our first responders. Yall have no idea how thankful I am for what yall do. Have a blessed day everyone, and never forget! No day shall erase you from the memory of time. #neverforget
