September 15, 2013 24th Sunday in Ordinary Time (Cycle C) Lord, thank You for lowering Yourself to my level and for overlooking my unworthiness in order to lift me up and return me back to Your fold. By Your grace and power, may You transform my sinfulness to holiness, restoring my relationship with You as Your precious child. Open my heart to Your compassionate love and help me to be merciful just as You are merciful. Grant me a portion of Your burning desire to bring back the lost sheep into Your loving embrace. Fill me with Your transforming love that I may soak up the grace of Your divine influence and truly reflect Your goodness and mercy in my thoughts, words and deeds. Help me to persistently pray and seek after those who have lost their way to You by letting Your Light shine through me. Open my heart to Your mercy and grant me Your grace in overflowing measure so that I may discover Your goodness in others, and allow Your call to holiness to triumph in the life of my soul.
