September 17, 2011 was the day that I put my old life to rest and started my new life. A life where I utilized my capabilities and lived life to the fullest. I realized the impact that tattoos make on people, whether its about the content of the piece and what it means to them, the closure of a past memory or mistake, the welcoming of new life, the opportunities to embrace their bodies and the overall way they look at themselves. With the help of some great friends, I managed to open my shop, Trap Ink Tattoos.With the help of an artist who I can call one of my best friends (I dont use that term lightly) we have managed to establish ourselves as a great local shop and have networked with some of our favorite artists. We only dreamt of being where we are at 3 years ago and I want to say thank you to everyone for the support and promoting. That being said, this Wednesday, September 17, 2014, we are having a prestigious tattoo artist doing a guest spot at trap ink tattoos, all the way from Chicago, Illinois. He is one of our nations #scriptkillas. He is literally one of the best in the world. I had the honor of him doing kalibears name on me a few years ago and am getting a portrait done of her this time. He has a few appointments booked for Wednesday, but he is still taking on a few more people. This is a huge opportunity to get a badass freehand script tattoo or a smooth black and grey portrait from someone you would normally have to travel to Chicago to get tattooed by. His Instagram name is @sirtwice. Look up his work and think about your ideas. I am super excited to have him guest spot on the day of our three year anniversary and hope to see some of you come up.
