September 19th: 3rd Thursday Evening Social. Fellow Kiwanian, and City Councilman, Buddy Brand will be hosting us for a tour of the new City Center in downtown Florence. Join us as we tour the City’s new facility and socialize over refreshments afterwards. Meet at the City Center at 5:30. ***No lunch meeting at the Florence Country Club this week*** September 26th: Business Meeting and Changing of the Guard. Be present to bid President Love farewell and welcome President Carter to the party!!! October 3rd: What better way to kick off the new Kiwanis year than to have a class on The History of the Kiwanis Club of Florence. Bobby Floyd and Evans Holland will be teaming up to present our Club’s history with stories of the past. We’ll call it New Member (and Old Member) Orientation. October 10th: Governor Nikki Haley will be joining us for lunch to discuss the State of the Palmetto State. This will also be an inter-club meeting with the Pee Dee Kiwanis Club. Plan to bring a guest as we welcome our Governor to Florence. Lunch will be in the banquet room next to our normal meeting room.
