September 20, 2013 Dear Mayor and Council Members of Banning, San Gorgonio Child Care Consortium has been in Banning for 31 years. I know that some people would like nothing better than to see the Consortium close. But there are 21 staff and 96 parents that want it to stay open that should count for something. I know that the city can help. If the city can fund a million dollar court house then why can’t you help keep the center alive? Give the school district another option, or help SGCCC find a place to keep providing the service that makes us special. It’s not the land or the buildings; it’s the staff and the families that make the center what it is. WE CARE, unlike you. If I am wrong then prove it; show me. I would say thank you but you have not done anything yet to deserve it. Linda Phillips
