September 20th entry Papa, The word that describes yesterday is glorious! From beginning to end, simply glorious, as well as fun! In view of the rough night Lamar and I had experienced with a stomach bug, this fantastic day was an even more blessed day. A turning point during the night came as I was retching. Out of my mouth came the words This WILL NOT diminish me! And it didnt. Grace came pouring down on me at 1:30 am. Got in Lamars recliner where I promptly went sound asleep and awoke six hours later, totally refreshed, eager and expectant to see what Your plans were for me. Take a good look at me, God, my God; I want to look life in the eye, so no enemy can get the best of me or laugh when I fall on my face. Ive thrown myself headlong into Your arms--Im celebrating Your rescue. Im singing at the top of my lungs, Im so full of answered prayers. Ps. 13: 3-6 THE MESSAGE At bedtime, Lamar said Today it seems as though you dont have cancer! Well, since we are no longer praying for healing, but we are thanking You for healing, this would be our proper response. We are to live by faith, not by sight. Lamar was right when he observed Youre high! I was and am high! I am high and lifted up above powers and principalities. These were defeated by Jesus. He absorbed sin into Himself on the cross, then arose victorious! When I stay in Jesus, the only work a Christian has, He absorbs the death and decay all around me and in me! No wonder He instructs us to stick with Him and watch how He does it!! Hes showing us how to live freely and lightly--out from under the oppressive power of Sin!!!
