They are made at the beginning of the relationship between candidate and voter, but are quickly forgotten. ” ~Dick Gregory Thats any promise...we often make promises to things and/or people due to the present moment of our feelings...not even considering that we may not be able to live up to those promises in the nearest future. Promises are important to people, because there are so many people in the world who are living by and off of expectations...another problem we tend to have...expecting things...those things are the very things that make up for a lot of our disappointments...Making a promise is easy, but keeping a promise is much more difficult...sometimes we lack the necessary resources to even fulfill a promise...but we promise anyway in hopes of having it when the moment comes...you cant bank off of what you think you will have or be able to do in the future...if you are not sure...be that unsure person...and to the ones being promised...dont expect it...so with that being said........... ASSIGNMENT Keep your promises to yourself...live in the moment that you are able to do at that very moment, not what you think you will be able to do...not making promises keeps disappointment in others to a minimum...and it keeps people away from not being able to have trust in you...be truthful...be honest...do what you can when you can, but keep it to yourself...when you are able to do something...just do it...doesnt have to be placed in a promise, because things change...our minds, our feelings, and our resources...keep your promises to yourself. *Keep a Journal*
