September 26, 2014 “The nail that sticks out farthest gets hammered the hardest.” ~ Patrick Jones, Nailed You know...there is absolutely nothing wrong with being different. When you are different, its very noticeable, because others around you are doing the same things...so its easy to see that...being different shows your uniqueness, your creativity...it shows the true ART in you. Society will try its hardest to bring you in to their likings, because since you are apart of society, they expect everyone to be the same. When you are that nail that sticks out, you become criticized...hated upon because you actually are being yourself...some folk do not care for others being themselves...they kind of wished they could stick out too...behind the scenes, they admire your boldness, your rebellious attitude against conformity...they admire your way to live life exactly as YOU want...it shows your fearlessness...it shows your courage...it shows that you love all of you, which shows that you have no desire to fit in...that you accept yourself as who you are...so with that being said.................. ASSIGNMENT Just be...be yourself...stick out as far as you can...accept your flaws...accept your own thoughts...accept your style...accept your uniqueness...accept your feelings...show yourself off as the person you really are...show the world that you step to the beat of your own drum...when you are accepting of yourself...you dont care what others think, because you love who you are as a whole...do not compromise yourself for anything or anyone...BE YOU...its simple to be you and complicated to do what others do and want you to be...but its so easy to be you...no false truths about you and no rehearsals...BE YOU!! *Keep a Journal*
