September 3rd, 2014.. MRI day...got to the hospital on time only to be told of the delays..cant do much about it ..didnt like his nurse..blurted out his diagnosis right in front of him. Pathetic ..I told her boss..who weve gotten to know since May. He was a real trooper..we played cards..he got a blue slushy from their machine..pretty cool that they have a slushy machine right there in Radiology. His MRI went without issues..he watched his new Spiderman 2 movie. The scan ended up being shorter than originally planned..they didnt need to do two film series so we were done in one hour..he is so brave..starting to get used to needles. Poor baby! We left the hospital ..took him to eat where he wanted..Arbys. After, we came home and relaxed a little before heading to the Millers so that Joey could name Jonas new bunny..they agreed on Joesie. Thanks Jona! We relaxed..had good conversation. Diana and Jeremy joined us and Missy..Davids cousin. When it got dark..we went to the cemetery and lit the lanterns with our messages written on them..purple lantern for Elise..Pink for Hannah..white for hope..Red for Kristen..blue for peace and yellow for Christopher and Richard and all the little ones in Heaven who are no longer suffering from cancer. We needed the company ..couldnt ask for better friends..I will remember the evening forever. Joey had a great time with the big kids! Laughing and carrying on. Felt bad for Nick he wasnt feeling well but he hung in there. Needed the change in scenery. Thanks for all the prayers..support and love..stay Joey Strong!
