September 9, 2014 The Bay County Sheriff’s Office arrested a local man today after he hit several law enforcement vehicles with his own car as narcotics investigators approached his parked vehicle. Narcotics investigators approached Jeremy Michael Hayse, age 30, a transient, as he parked his vehicle at the Nautilus Cove apartments off Back Beach Road, Panama City Beach. Hayse had been observed driving with a suspended driver’s license. Hayse shook his head ‘no’ at the approaching investigator and drove around the investigators car, scraping a car parked next to him and the investigator’s car and ramming straight into another narcotics investigators vehicle as that investigator was sitting within the vehicle. Hayse was arrested and charged with two charges of Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer and felony Criminal Mischief. Hayse was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine and was charged with Possession of Methaphetamine with Intent to Distribute. A woman that was observed following Hayse as he drove to Nautilus Point and that had parked near him was also approached. Hailey Paige Oster, age 18, of 1027 Barracuda Drive, also had methamphetamine in her vehicle. She was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both were taken to the Bay County Jail. -30- Prepared by R. Corley Information by Capt. F. Bell Approved by Major T. Ford
