September Friday the 13th 1946, my Dad Cpl FR Prime flew back from Gibraltar across the Atlantic Ocean with one plane engine on fire, and landed in Goose Bay Labrador safely. He had hepatitis A or B and back then they had no test for it, so they thought he had TB, which he didnt but he got a rest in the Royal Ottawa Sanitarium ... I have an oak coat rack from the Old Lady Grey building, I worked at that hospital for 11 1/2 years. So lucky day for me, or I would not be here :o)
