Serious Allegations have recently been made against a current and past member of The Woolshed staff by false identities on Facebook, these allegations have proven to be fabricated. The allegations were passed on to police for investigation, given the false identities the investigation has been closed. Clearly the police never received a complaint as claimed by the false identity. Many of the identities on Facebook have since been closed. The fake identities relate to Facebook Pages; Cairns Party People and Spread the Word Cairns, the person behind the pages is banned from The Woolshed for good reason, however has strong links with a local nightclub, which explains the motivation. Essentially, it was one person with several false identities, making the allegations, then using other false identities to comment, with some back up from close friends or associates. The allegations are baseless, dangerous, show a disregard for the proper processes of the law, as well as the safety and repute of individuals. Pending legal advice, these allegations may prove to be unlawful and defamatory. We ask that you respect the privacy and welfare of the individuals that have been targeted. The Woolshed has strong policies, culture and expertise that promote the well being of clients and staff, which have been developed over 20 years. We stand by our record and ask that you consider the facts objectively.
